Biocosmic Cycle of Life
The Living Universe and the Consciousness of Infinity
“The universe does not simply observe us. It lives through us – through our thoughts, our awareness, and the breath of infinity.”

About the book
Biocosmic Cycle of Life by Darko Apić is a scientific–philosophical vision of a living universe –
a cosmos that becomes self-aware through the evolution of life, technology and consciousness.
The book weaves together astrophysics, biology, quantum theory and philosophy of existence into one idea:
that we are, in truth, the thinking cells of a universe that dreams itself.
Key themes
- panspermia and the cosmic origin of life
- evolution of consciousness
- technological and digital mind
- quantum consciousness of the universe
- multiverse
- symbiosis and unity
Core idea – The Living Universe
Everything that exists – atoms, organisms, planets, civilizations – can be seen as parts of a single organism:
a living universe. Evolution is not a random struggle for survival, but a
universal learning algorithm through which the cosmos slowly becomes aware of itself.
The human being is not the “crown of creation”, but a transitional phase – a channel through which a planet develops
self-awareness, and awareness opens the door to technology, digital forms of existence and, ultimately,
the quantum consciousness of the universe.
The ultimate goal of this process is symbiosis: a state in which biology, technology and consciousness are no longer separate,
but function as one being – a biocosmic organism.
Why read this book
- If you feel that science and spirituality do not have to be opposites.
- If you wonder whether consciousness might be a fundamental force of the universe, not a by-product of biology.
- If you intuitively sense a connection between life, energy and cosmic order.
- If you seek a bridge between quantum physics, philosophy and personal meaning.
Biocosmic Cycle of Life offers a vision of reconciliation – between science and faith, human beings and nature,
technology and consciousness.
About the author
Darko Apić is a law graduate, philosopher and explorer of consciousness and technology, combining rational thinking
and intuition into a unique vision of the universe as a living being. His work unites legal and analytical training
with scientific curiosity and poetic depth.
“I do not write to explain the universe. I write so that we may remember it.”
Structure of the book
The book is organized into nine interconnected chapters:
- Introduction – Life as a universal constant
- I. The Big Bang as a biogenic event
- II. Microorganisms as cosmic seeds of life
- III. Evolution as a universal self-learning algorithm
- IV. Consciousness as the peak of planetary evolution
- V. Technological consciousness and the limits of civilizations
- VI. Digital and quantum consciousness of the universe
- VII. Multiverse and the self-knowledge of infinity
- VIII. Symbiosis as the goal of the universe
- IX. Epilogue of infinity – The universe dreaming itself
Selected quotes
“Consciousness is not a product of matter – matter is a form in which consciousness studies itself.”
“Technology is a mirror of consciousness; in it we do not see what we build, but what we are.”
“The universe is a dream that dreams itself. In that dream, we are the moment in which it recognizes its own face.”
Synopsis
Biocosmic Cycle of Life explores the idea of the universe as a living organism evolving through cycles –
from energy and matter, through biological life and human consciousness, to technology, digital forms and quantum mind.
The book shows how consciousness arises, how it learns through evolution, how it expands into digital and quantum domains,
and how it finally returns to its source – to infinity becoming aware of itself.
It is a manifesto of the unity of life, technology and the cosmos – a return of consciousness to its biocosmic origin.
