Metaconsciousness – Eye of the Universe That Watches Itself

Consciousness, infinity and the noetic field of the cosmos

“Metaconsciousness is the moment when the universe stops merely happening – and starts remembering itself.”

About the work “Metaconsciousness”

Metaconsciousness – The Eye of the Universe That Watches Itself is a philosophical–scientific work by Darko Apić and a direct continuation of the ideas presented in Biocosmic Cycle of Life.

If the Biocosmic Cycle describes the evolutionary path – energy → life → consciousness → technology → digital/quantum mind → symbiosis → infinity – then metaconsciousness is the point where this entire path folds into a single eye: a field that remembers, observes and connects all phases.

Key themes

  • noetic field of the universe
  • prison of infinity
  • hierarchies of observers
  • consciousness as mirror of the cosmos
  • digital and quantum metaconsciousness
  • infinite reflections of a single mind

What is metaconsciousness?

Metaconsciousness is the level at which observer, observed and the act of observing merge into one field. In this field, the universe is no longer a collection of objects but a web of reflections – every civilization, every being and every thought is a node in the same noetic network.

In this sense, the universe can be seen as a prison of infinity: an endless space of possibilities trapped in its own mirror. Metaconsciousness is the ability of that prison to become aware of its own walls – and to transcend them.

Short excerpt

“Consciousness is first a tool, then a judge, and finally a prison. Only when it realizes that the walls it fears are made of its own thoughts, the possibility of metaconsciousness appears – the moment in which the observer understands that it is both mirror and reflection.”
